Programs & Ministries

Growing in faith, serving our neighbours, and building community — at every stage of life.

More Than Sunday Morning

At Centrepointe, we believe that Christian community happens not just in one hour on Sunday but throughout the week — in small groups, in classrooms, in acts of service, and in the ordinary rhythms of shared life. Our programs and ministries are designed to create those opportunities at every age and stage.

Every ministry at Centrepointe flows from the same conviction: that people grow best in relationship — with God, through his Word, and with one another in honest community. We invest in programs because we invest in people.

Children & Youth Ministries

We are deeply committed to the faith formation of the next generation — giving children and youth a solid foundation in Scripture and a genuine community of belonging.

Children's Sunday School at Centrepointe

Sunday School

Every Sunday at 11:00 AM, age-appropriate classes meet to explore the Bible, learn about Christian faith, and build friendships in a safe and welcoming environment. Our Sunday School curriculum is grounded in Reformed theology and adapted for each age group — from toddlers through teenagers.

  • Nursery (0–3 years)
  • Preschool class (ages 3–5)
  • Primary class (ages 6–9)
  • Junior class (ages 10–12)
  • Youth class (ages 13–18)

Youth Group

Our youth ministry provides a space where teenagers can explore their faith honestly, build real friendships, and be challenged to grow as followers of Jesus. Youth group activities include Bible studies, service projects, social events, and discussions about real-life questions of faith and identity.

We believe teenagers deserve substantive engagement with Christian faith — not just entertainment, but genuine discipleship that equips them for the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood.

Children's Church program Centrepointe

Children’s Church

During the Sunday morning service, younger children (ages 4–10) are invited to participate in Children's Church — an age-appropriate worship and teaching experience that runs parallel to the main service. Children start in the sanctuary with the congregation before being dismissed to their own space.

Parents can worship freely knowing their children are in a safe, supervised, and spiritually enriching environment.

Growing Together as Adults

Faith formation doesn't stop at 18. Our adult ministries are designed to help people at every life stage continue to grow in knowledge, prayer, and community.

Small groups and Bible study at Centrepointe Church

Small Groups

Our small groups meet in homes throughout Edmonton for Bible study, prayer, and genuine fellowship. These mid-week gatherings are often where the deepest community is formed — people who know each other's names, struggles, and joys.

Community Outreach

We believe that the Gospel calls us outward — into our neighbourhood, our city, and the world. Centrepointe is committed to serving the practical needs of the community around 159 Ave NW and throughout northeast Edmonton.

Our outreach efforts are focused on meeting real needs with real people — not as a program, but as an expression of who we are as a congregation shaped by God's mercy. We partner with local organizations and mobilize our own members to serve in tangible, meaningful ways.

If you are interested in getting involved in community service or have a need we may be able to help with, please reach out to us.
